There are commuter rail stops 15-20 minutes away from our schools in our neighboring communities of Middleborough, Plymouth and Kingston.

The size of our school district versus the curriculum and opportunities it offers to students and staff is extraordinary. We have developed 7 CTE Pathways at our Middle High School, including 3 DESE approved Innovation Pathways in Agricultural and Environmental Science, Technology and Engineering and Clean Energy.

What is it like to teach at Carver Public Schools?
The benefits of a small district allow for greater connections to be made within the community and schools and between students and staff.
What kind of support does Carver Public Schools offer new teachers?
New teachers are paired with a mentor and are welcomed at a new teacher orientation several weeks before summer, where they can meet with their mentor and new teachers as well as administration to make connections prior to the school year. During the year, they participate in a yearlong mentoring program that meets once per month in alignment with the requirements of the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.
How does Carver Public Schools demonstrate that it is commited to teacher diversity?
We have a strong mentor program and supportive staff. We have an active DEI Committee. This year we have specific professional development planned for teachers. We also have an active racial diversity student group at the Middle High School.
