What is it like to teach at Mansfield Public Schools?
Our school community strives to welcome and encourage all employees so they feel supported and accepted. The Mansfield school district is a close community and that sense of identity and cooperation extends to living in the Town of Mansfield as well.
What kind of support does Mansfield Public Schools offer new teachers?
All new staff in Mansfield participate in New Hire Orientation. All new educators participate in a 2-year orientation program and are assigned a mentor. Technology and professional development are also provided on an on-going basis.
How does Mansfield Public Schools demonstrate that it is commited to teacher diversity?
In addition to our involvement with MPDE, Mansfield has participated in the Minority Educator Recruitment Fair organized by Milton Public Schools for the past few years. Mansfield also meets with Guiding Mansfield Forward, a community group seeking to “create a culturally inclusive curriculum, hire diverse staff, and encourage civic education.”
