Norton is a quiet college town (Wheaton College) with approximately 19,000 residents. The community is very united with attention to supporting those in need. The community underwent significant changes during the 1990s when it almost doubled its size with a population boom because of new homes.

We have a full mentoring program and a very active and engaged local union. We are also a social emotional and learning district and spend professional time supporting new teachers in balancing work and home priorities.
