What kind of support does Reading Public Schools offer new teachers?
We offer a comprehensive induction and mentoring program, including a week-long induction program in the summer. We assign each new professional staff member a year-long mentor. We offer numerous professional development opportunities at no cost, including our “Reading Institute,” which offers courses that are eligible for graduate credit.
